Job Description
Education & Experience:
Has a degree from an accredited university with major coursework in business process, systems analysis, security information systems, and computer science.
Recent experience in supporting and enabling IT security compliance standards established by the Canadian Federal Government is an asset, and the ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience working in the security information domain, exhibit business process proficiency, and be capable of bridging gaps between business and IT processes and teams.
Clearance: Security Clearance (TBS 330-23)

• Security and Privacy Requirements Elicitation
• Developing and Executing Security Programs
• Federal Government's Security Requirements, Policies and Regulations
• Auditing and Security Assessment processes
• Authentication, Access and Policy Enforcement Controls
• Designated Organization Screening and Document Safeguarding Capability processes
• Account Provisioning and Management
• Developing Contingency Plans
• Testing & Quality Assurance
Job Duties:
• Establish and document system controls by developing a framework for controls and levels of access. Develop methods of identifying anomalous user access.
• Ensure authorized access by investigating improper access, revoking access, and reporting violations.
• Establish computer and terminal physical security by developing standards, policies, and procedures, coordinating with facilities' security, and recommending improvements.
• Develop security awareness by providing orientation, educational programs, and on-going communication.
• Work with clients to ensure their security requirements are met.
• Support internal and external auditors with evidence to support compliance with policies.
